Guild of Beer Writers.

Maltby
Street (our neighbourhood of food producers and traders) is
'Best Newcomer' at the OBSERVER FOOD MONTHLY AWARDS 2011.
And our brewery is Runner-Up for 'Best
Producer'.

We have sent the following beers to the Borefts Beer Festival: Black IPA
9.8%, Breakfast STOUT 9.3%, Brown Rye 7.5%, Galaxy IPA 7.4%, Citra IPA
7.3%, PALE ALE Motueka 5.2%. We also collaborated on a beer especially
for the festival with Thornbridge Brewery: a Burton
Ale 7.2%.

Today we have brewed an IMPERIAL STOUT to commemorate the birth of our
son. It is a strong dark beer which hopefully will keep until he is of
age to drink it. Brewed in collaboration with Phil Lowry, Simon Siemsgluess
and Chrigl Luthy.

We are very happy to announce our first awards from the SIBA South East
of England Beer Festival:
KERNEL EXPORT STOUT wins two gold medals - as best porter/stout.and best
bottled beer.
KERNEL IPA SIMCOE wins gold in the beer over 5% and bronze in the overall
bottled beer section.
